yep. I love central american art and culture. the colours, and shapes used in the design works of the aztec, mayan, and incan empires was amazing. I'm bonkers over the sculptures and architecture. I think what attracts me to them is, while they have a definite solidity to the constructions, they still have a very round organic feel to them. it may have something to do with the fact that these cultures were surrounded by some of the most dense and lushly beautiful forestry and plant life on the face of the planet. i think so. none the less, it inspired them and in turn they inspired me.
